Our Story
We had it all figured out. Then our kids taught us what "all" really means.
A love story, a career story, and the moment we realized they were pulling us in opposite directions.

Chapter 1
Two high school sweethearts, doing everything "right"
We met in high school. When college came, we went our separate ways, but we never quite let go. We kept in touch, and a few years later, a reunion trip with old friends brought us back together. What followed was years of long distance, and eventually a life together.
We graduated, landed good jobs and started climbing. By every measure we'd been taught, we were winning.
Chapter 2
The surprise that rewrote the plan
Then, unexpectedly, our first baby arrived. We'll be honest: at first, we weren't sure we were ready. Those early months were hard, the kind of hard every parent knows.
But somewhere between the late-night feeds and the first smiles, something shifted. Taking care of this tiny person gave us a sense of meaning that no promotion ever had. Family stopped being one part of our life. It became the center of it.
"We'd spent years chasing the next title. It turned out the most important job we'd ever have didn't come with one."
Chapter 3
Trying to do it all
Our family grew. So did the pressure. We were trying to do two full-time things at once: climb the ladder, and be truly present for the most important years of our kids' lives.
Something always lost. More and more, it was the time we could never get back.
Chapter 4
The Christmas that changed everything
Last year, the end-of-year push at work hit Riley hard. The pressure to perform was so heavy that Christmas, the most magical time of year with little kids, felt like it was happening around her instead of with her.
That season made something painfully clear: we were missing the moments we'd worked so hard to give our kids.

Chapter 5
The leap
So this year, we sat down and asked ourselves a hard question. Do we keep climbing, or do we find the courage to let go, and show our kids that family really does come first?
We chose them. It was a leap of faith, but we knew one thing for sure: whatever happened, we'd have each other. That's the same feeling we want every child to grow up with.
Chapter 6
From group texts to Jollibloom
The idea had been in front of us for years. We'd always been the friends other parents came to: Which toy is actually worth it? How do you build their confidence? Got any tips for bedtime?
Jollibloom is that same help, open to every family. It's a place for the things our own kids love, tested at our house first, and for the ideas that turn ordinary evenings into memories. Our two big kids and our newest little one are still our toughest critics.
Chapter 7
Your chapter
You don't have to quit your job to choose what matters. Sometimes it's ten minutes on the floor. A story before lights out. A blanket fort on a Tuesday. Small moments, chosen on purpose, add up to a childhood.
That's what Jollibloom is here for. Not to sell you more stuff, but to help your family grow closer, one moment at a time.
With love, Parker & Riley
